The wooden part of the grip is partly eaten by beetles and covered with some small holes. Nevertheless inserts, detailed eagle and SA rune button are well saved. The crossguard is in a good condition with slight age marks. The blade has some oxidation marks near the crossguard and also has some age marks. The blade is marked on its heel and has well saved etchings “Alles fur Deutschland” at one side and “DEM SIEGER S 21-Sturmbann II/143 23.8.36” at another. The scabbard has no lacquer covering. Both nickel-plated mounting and ending are covered with some spots and there is a crack at the ending though all screws at the scabbard are saved. It is an old dagger that obviously has its own intriguing history will be a great addition to any collection for personalized items lovers.
